THIS SCHOOL IS COMMITTED TO SAFEGUARDING AND PROMOTING THE WELFARE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AND EXPECTS ALL STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS TO SHARE THIS COMMITMENT.
The phonics workshop takes place on Wednesday 28th September from 9 until about 9.30am. This is open to all reception parents to learn more about how we teach phonics in school, and how to support reading at home.
As part of our Harvest Celebration this year we are asking the children to bring in food donations to our Harvest Assembly on Friday 30th September. These donations will be passed on to The Salvation Army and we would therefore request that donations be non-perishable food such as tins of food, packets of rice etc. Please bring them to your child’s classroom on the morning of the assembly. Thank you for your help.
This Code is to remind us all about our responsibilities to park in a safe place and to turn our engines off. This leaflet was written with input from our pupil Eco-council and can be found on the Eco-council page on the school website.
Our primary communication method continues to be via email directly to the parent concerned, however 'general news/events' will be located on the school website, on the Wood End App and also via Twitter.
