  • Spring Music Festival - Wednesday 20th March
    Well done to our choir who performed brilliantly at the Harpenden Schools Spring Festival on Wednesday evening. They sang a number of well known songs from musicals. It was a really enjoyable evening and they were a credit to the school.
  • Wood End School Football Tournament - Thursday 21st March
    Wood End hosted the annual Harpenden school football tournament yesterday, you might have heard the klaxon going every seven minutes!
  • Year 6 Visit to Crucial Crew - w/c 18th March
    Year Six children visited St. Albans Fire Station for their 'Crucial Crew' workshop - an innovative and interactive way of delivering personal and safety education messages to 10-11 year old children.
  • E-Safety Sessions for Parents - Wednesday 24th April
    A reminder that we are hosting two e-safety sessions for parents on Wednesday 24th April. Thank you to those that have signed up.

  • Fairtrade sale Friday 8th March 2019
    Thank you to the Eco-council who made the fabulous Fairtrade cakes/biscuits, and for setting up their stalls and selling some tasty treats.
  • Red Nose Day 15th March 2019
    Everyone came to school today in their red/pink tops. Thank you to the School Council who organised the day and ‘Who is the Baby?’ competition, where pupils had to guess the member of staff from their baby photo – lots of fun!
  • Parent Questionnaire 2019
    As part of the school’s self-evaluation process we require, from time to time, your kind cooperation in completing a questionnaire.
  • Year 5 Enterprise Sale - Friday 1st March
    Te pupils from Year 5 once again held a very successful Enterprise Sale. They managed to come up with some really original ideas this time, alongside some of our old favourites, which meant there was something for everyone.
  • World Book Day - Thursday 7th March
    Children dressed up as a character from one of their favourite books and brought into school their chosen book to share with their buddy group. A celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly reading.
