  • Year 3 Visit to Verulanium Museum - Tuesday 11th June
    On Tuesday, a very enthusiastic Year 3 visited the Verulamium Museum in St Albans. We wandered through the different galleries, looking at the collection of Roman objects while answering questions in our activity booklets.

  • Postponement Sports Day Friday 14th June to Friday 12th July
    Dear Parents I have continued to monitor the forecast all week and it does vary. However, it is once again with regret that I have decided will have to postpone sports day. We will try one more time on Friday 12th July.
  • Year 4 Walk to Harpenden - Thursday 6th June
    Year 4 had a fabulous day in the sunshine walking to Harpenden. The children completed a trail of the town and found out about Harpenden's past.
  • Entrance Gate on Yeomans Avenue - Live from next Monday 17th June
    To improve security we have installed a new entry system on the front gate. This will mean any visitor between 9am and 3pm will have to use the intercom to enter the site.
  • Postponement Sports Day to Friday 14th June
    I have been watching the forecast all week and it does not seem that we are going to get a day without rain tomorrow. I am therefore making the decision to postpone the sports day until a week on Friday 14th June.
  • PTA Fun Run Sponsorship & Reusable Mugs!
    Thank you again to everyone involved in last month's Fun Run. Please help boost our fundraising further and return any sponsorship forms along with any money raised to the School Office by this Friday (7th June).
  • Year 5 w/c 20th May & Visit to Lee Valley
    It's been a busy week in Year 5! We enjoyed a fabulous day at Lee Valley Park on Wednesday. Our knowledgeable guides provided the children with a huge amount of useful information to support their work on rivers and mountains.
  • Year 4 - Electricity Workshop, Friday 10th May
    The children had great fun making their electrical board game using batteries, switches, wires and a bulb. Thank you to the PTA who partly funded this workshop and also the parent helpers who support our activities.
  • Reception - Animal Workshop, Wednesday 15th May
    To enhance our animal topic we experienced an interactive and fascinating session on Wednesday this week. Thank you to the PTA for making this possible.
